Our name has changed but our mission has not.

We are excited to introduce you to our new look and name! Say hello to, your outdoor recreation hub for Southwest Colorado.

In the early 1980s, four Durango locals got together and created what become Trails 2000, in an effort to preserve our area trails for decades to come. For 30 years, Trails 2000 has done just that, creating and maintaining a system of regional trails that brings our community together.

Now, 30 years later, we look to the future as Durango Trails.

While our look and name have changed, our work has not. We are still committed to planning, building and maintaining the trails surrounding Durango, as well as educating trail users and creating connections. It is your support that helps keep this mission alive.

Thank you for being a part of our past, and for looking ahead toward the future with us!

Great Communities Build Great Trails and Great Trails Build Great Communities.
