Upper Colorado Trail Maintenance | Saturday, June 26

June 26, 2021 @ 7:30 am 6:00 pm

Join us for trailwork on the Upper Colorado Trail from Champion Venture to Walls Gulch Bridge where we will do tread and drainage work on this 4.5 mile section of trail.

We are seeking avid mountain bikers to participate. The shuttle will depart from town at 7:30am on Saturday and return around 6pm Saturday night. If you prefer to hike in, you will need to plan to drive your own car up Junction Creek Road (approximately 90 minutes on rough terrain). (Please indicate in the “Anything else you’d like us to know” field in the registration form if you will be bringing a bike or riding the shuttle in & out).

The shuttle cap is at 14 people, so we will accept the first 14 people who register. You will receive a confirmation email on Wednesday, June 23rd, if your registration has been accepted.

Breakfast burritos and lunch (sandwiches) will be provided. No kids under 16 or dogs, please.

No experience is necessary for trailwork, and Durango Trails will provide the necessary instruction, safety tool talk, tools, work gloves, and water and snacks for the entire crew. Please note, registration is required to join us for Trailwork; please register below.

Thank you for volunteering, and giving back to your trails and community!
