Situated between Matterhorn Campground and Trout Lake, Priest Lake offers free camping and a multitude of outdoor activities.
In the summer pull out the SUP board and in the winter bring your Nordic skis. The Nordic Association grooms trails that are pet-friendly, both at Priest Lake and at Trout Lake.

dIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD
Priest Lake Campground
From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head west on 9th Street toward Camino Del Rio. Turn left onto Camino Del Rio/ Hwy 550.
From Camino del Rio, take US-160 W about 27 miles to CO-184 W/N Main Street in Mancos; take a right.
Follow CO-184 W for 17 miles, then turn right onto CO-145 N. Follow CO-145 N 52 miles to the Priest Lake campground.
