Part of the Dalla Mountain Park trail system.

Junction Trail is a popular 2.37-mile trail in Dalla Mountain Park for climbers, hikers, families, and mountain bikers alike.

Accessed from Jacob’s Cliff Trail, Junction Trail parallels Junction Creek Road and provides access to bouldering rocks and other trails in Dalla Mountain Park.

Dalla Mountain Park is a popular destination among climbers, hikers and mountain bikers alike. The area, densely forested and populated by an incredible number of sandstone boulders, some the size of buildings, is well signed.

dIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD

Jacob’s Cliff Parking Area

From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head west on 9th Street toward Camino Del Rio (Highway 550). Turn right onto Highway 550 north then take a left on 25th Street. Follow 25th Street (becomes Junction Creek Road) for 0.8 miles where a dirt parking area for Dalla Mountain Park/Jacob’s Cliff is on your right.
