Part of the Hermosa Creek Trails system.
Corral Draw trail connects the main Hermosa Creek trail to the Colorado Trail (at high country) near the northernmost part of the Hermosa Creek Trail.
Hotel Draw/Corral Draw/Hermosa Creek Loop: To access Hotel Draw / Colorado Trail / Corral Draw / Hermosa Creek Loop from the parking area, backtrack out to Hermosa Park Road and turn left. Ride on Hermosa Park Road for about 2-3 miles before turning left onto Hotel Draw at the junction with Bolam Pass Road.
Climb just over 4 miles until the road levels out and look for a gate and small parking turnout on your right. Join the Colorado Trail here by turning left onto the trail. Follow the Colorado Trail about 3 miles of rolling and climbing terrain. The Colorado Trail crosses dirt roads several times in this 3 miles, but just keep an eye out for the Colorado Trail insignia.
At a nice overlook point on the Colorado Trail a very obvious sign for Corral Draw Trail will point you downhill and to the left. Take this left and ride/hike mostly downhill for about 5 miles of very narrow singletrack. Nearing the end the trail takes an abrupt left turn out onto a very exposed cliff overlooking Hermosa Creek. Use caution as you descend this final section and connect with Hermosa Creek Trail.
Turn left and head uphill on Hermosa Creek Trail. After about 2-3 miles you will reach the northern trailhead and the start of your route. Ride length about 12-14 miles.
