Part of the Overend Mountain Park trails system.

Grabens is a 0.6-mile segmented loop accessed from the top of Hidden Valley. The western end of Grabens Loop leads to Star Wars, a popular and technical downhill trail in Overend Mountain Park. Starting at the Hidden Valley cul-de-sac, head up Hidden Valley, turn right at the top where you’ll arrive at the top of Star Wars descent; either turn right and follow Star Wars Descent, or continue left to complete the Grabens Loop back to Ned’s Hill Trail/Hidden Valley Trail.

dIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD

Parking at Hidden Valley

From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head west on 9th Street toward Camino Del Rio. Turn right onto Camino Del Rio (Highway 550/ N. Main Avenue) Continue on North Main Avenue/Camino Del Rio; take a left onto West. 22nd Street. Take a right on West 3rd and a quick left onto West 23rd Street (becomes Columbine Drive). Take a left onto Arroyo Drive and a left onto Hidden Valley Circle where you will find a place to park at the top of the dead-end near the trailhead.
