Star Wars is a fun and technical descent accessed from the top of Grabens Loop. Star Wars is 0.3-miles long and descends 240 feet to meet Perins Gulch trail and connect to other trails and loops. Although Star Wars is open to hikers, bikers and trail runners, it is most popular for bikes; keep your eyes open on the trail for bikers descending this trail’s sweeping turns.

To Leyden Street: From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head west on 9th Street toward Camino Del Rio. Cross the river over Camino Del Rio on 9th Street and turn right onto Roosa Avenue. Turn left onto El Paso Street, and turn right onto Forest Avenue. Turn left onto Leyden Street and continue to the end of the cul-de-sac to the trailhead.
