When Jeff and Jenny Vierling started Tailwind, they were already trail users and fans of Durango Trails. The quote on the company website shows Jeff on the local trails stating: “IT ALL STARTED ON THE TRAIL..”
“Winding trails, breathtaking views, mountain-side sunrises. Those are the things that inspired Tailwind’s founder to get outside, and he wasn’t about to let bad nutrition get in the way” adding in another photo: “Soaking in the views, chatting with a friend, or pushing myself further — I feel joyful and refreshed when I’m out on the trail.”
Supporting Durango Trails was a natural fit. Our family, friends, team and customers use trails in their local communities to recreate and enjoy the outdoors. Based in Durango, we choose to live, work and play here due in large part because of the area trails. We support Durango Trails because of their mission to plan, build and maintain world class trails; educate trail users and create connections. While that mission holds true, it also does so much more in connecting our communities to the outdoors. As Tailwind provides the nutrition to get out on the trails, Durango Trails provides the infrastructure to make that experience possible. It’s a perfect fit!
