Part of the Dalla Mountain Park trail system.

The Bouldering Trail is a popular trail in Durango for bouldering, hiking and biking. Accessed from Jacob’s Cliff Trail, Bouldering Trail spans 0.53 miles and provides access to bouldering areas before joining Sailing Hawks Trail. Dalla Mountain Park is a popular destination among climbers, hikers and mountain bikers alike. The area, densely forested and populated by an incredible number of sandstone boulders, some the size of buildings, is well signed.

Jacob’s Cliff Parking Area

From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head west on 9th Street toward Camino Del Rio (Highway 550). Turn right onto Highway 550 north then take a left on 25th Street. Follow 25th Street (becomes Junction Creek Road) for 0.8 miles where a dirt parking area for Dalla Mountain Park/Jacob’s Cliff is on your right.
