The East Fork trail (FS #638) is 6.5 miles long. Most commonly used as a mountain bike route, ride up Hermosa Park Road to East Fork onto Hwy 145, you can ride north up Hwy 145 to Scotch Creek and return to Hermosa. A long ride.
It begins at Forest Road 204 – East Fork Rd. and ends at Forest Road 578 – Hermosa Park Rd. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Trail Riding

From 9th Street and Main Avenue in Durango, head east on 9th Street toward Hwy 160 west. Follow 160 towards 27 miles to Mancos. Turn right on Co 183 in Mancos, and after 45 miles, turn right on Hwy 145.
